LKM

and has invested in the best new equipment available to its
purpose-built site at Sittingbourne.
The
centrepiece of the line-up is a 500-tonne Sierra shearing,
logging and bailing press. It was customised to LKM
requirements and was the first in Europe to harness this awesome
processing power.
The
press is fed by equally effective cranes and grabs, while
a computer-linked weighbridge allows for fast and efficient
control of all raw materials entering the site.

including stainless steel-lined examples to cope with toxic
materials such as battery acid – assist rapid processing
at both the site and LKM’s customers. And
everything at the site is served by LKM’s own modern
