 LKM’s flexibility, reliability and competitiveness has fuelled success in the export market, accelerated recently by acquisition of our own dock on the River Medway, close to our expanded site at Sittingbourne in Kent.
Demand came originally from the Continent, including France, Belgium, Germany, Italy and particularly Spain and Portugal, to which we make regular shipments.
In addition, we are opening up markets in the booming Far East, having supplied Japanese motor giants Toyota and Nissan with high-grade aluminium ingots and made good contacts in India and China – two of the world’s fastest growing economies.
The LKM management team has now expanded to include an export specialist and this underlines our intention to grow our reputation and business internationally.
